Clean Lines and Warm Tones

Located in the charming neighborhood of Clonskeagh, Dublin, this recently renovated home underwent a complete transformation with the installation of a SieMatic S2 Lotus White kitchen from the Pure range.

The project aimed to create a sleek, modern, and social kitchen, incorporating a large island and plenty of worktop space. The design brief called for a minimalist two-tone colour palette, referencing existing room finishes and textures.

The cabinets and drawers were finished in Lotus White, complete with matching recess channel handles, creating a sleek and modern look. The wall units and back panel were finished in Beach Oak, adding warmth and texture to the design.

Lotus White, a warm and timeless colour, was chosen specially for this design. The handle recess channels are also ergonomically optimised. These handles bring out the visual lines and highlight the graphically clear minimalistic form of furniture elements – both horizontally and vertically.

The show-stopping element of the kitchen is the full seamless Corian island. The island now serves as a central gathering place for the couple and their guests, allowing for easy meal preparation and a stylish space for
entertaining.

The wall units and back panel, finished in Beach Oak, add warmth and texture to the design while the innovative storage solutions, including pull-out pantries and deep drawers, offer ample storage space. The monolithic look of the island is enhanced by the long strip lighting, creating a dramatic effect and adding to the overall modern aesthetic.

The lighting is strategically placed to emphasise the uninterrupted surface of the island, drawing the eye towards its smooth and continuous form. The end result is a stunning kitchen that seamlessly integrates form and function, providing a warm and inviting space for socialising, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
